The Delicato Monoflap is part of the Carl Hester by PDS Collection, a line of saddles designed in conjunction with Olympic Gold Medalist Carl Hester and engineered to maximize performance for both horse and rider.
The PDS Delicato is designed specifically for Baroque-type horses, with low withers and compact, barrel-shaped frames. This saddle features wool-flocked, compact panels suitable for horses with shorter backs. An interchangeable gullet plate system allows the rider to quickly and easily modify the width of the tree at the pommel. Currently the saddle is fitted with an XW (yellow) plate. The close-contact carbon fiber tree, monoflap design and narrow twist offers the ultimate close feel on horses that can often be tricky to fit. Covered with high-quality, jet-black leather for a grippy, supple feel and unmistakable style.

HORSE FIT DESCRIPTION: This saddle has an interchangeable gullet plate system. The tree point width can be changed to accommodate a variety of wither shapes from narrow to x-wide. This saddle is currently fitted with a orange plate and is great for a compact saddle bearing area with a relatively level back.
RIDER DESCRIPTION: The narrow twist and moderate width of seat make for a close ride in this deep seated saddle. Large, supportive thigh blocks and a relatively straight flap put the rider in a classically correct position.
