Returns & Exchanges

We hope you will be satisfied with your purchase, but if you need to return or exchange your item for any reason please see our return & exchange policy below.

Returns

  • Returns are accepted within 10 business days of receiving the item
  • The return must be pre-authorized by one of our agents. We’ll send you a return/exchange form and optional shipping label. The item must be shipped back within 10 business days of receiving the form. 
  • Buyer is responsible for all shipping charges. Shipping charges are not refunded.
  • Returned items may be subject to a 15% restocking fee. DBS may decline a return if the item is damaged or dirty, shows excessive use or mis-use, or is otherwise not in a condition to be resold or unacceptable for return. 
  • Refunds will be returned to the original payment method within 15 days of receipt of the returned item. 
  • Saddles are NOT eligible for return or exchange.

Exchanges

  • Exchanges are accepted within 10 business days of receiving the item.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Saddles: all new and used saddle sales are final.
  • Bits
  • Special orders, customized or personalized items
  • Opened substances (e.g. tack cleaners)
  • Dirty items
  • Damaged items

Incorrect or Damaged Items

If you receive an incorrect item in your order, please notify us right away. If your item is damaged, please contact the shipping carrier directly. 

Return/Exchange Procedure

  1. Contact us by phone at 845-672-9421 or email at sales@dutchessbridlesaddle.com.
  2. We’ll send you a return form to complete and include with your item.
  3. Select your shipping method. We suggest using ground service with UPS, USPS, or FedEX. Include tracking information and insurance with your return. Please use sales@dutchessbridlesaddle.com for tracking, attn: Jackie Tassey-Smetana. If you prefer a label sent to you, we will reduce your return by the total cost of shipping.

Packing Guidelines

The return item must be accompanied with:

  • original packaging and tags
  • original receipt
  • return form
  • careful wrapping and sufficient filler in the box.
