Shipping Guidelines for Repairs
Box size for saddles should be about 18” x 18” x 24”. Sturdy boxes can be found at moving places (U-Haul), office supply stores (Staples), or home improvement centers (e.g., Home Depot). Used boxes should be structurally sound, with no weak or crumpled sides and the bottom sealed, and all previous shipping labels torn off or blacked out.
Place some packing material in the bottom of the box, place or wrap the saddle in a plastic bag along with notes, photos, and/or tracings, put the saddle in the box and then pack around the saddle before sealing the top of the box. Crumpled newspaper and shredded paper are excellent, re-usable packing materials – we recycle as often as we can! If it can be helped, do not send packing peanuts. Absolutely NO big chunks of Styrofoam, chemically activated Styrofoam or plastic-wrapped fiberglass!

We recommend shipping your saddle through UPS and insuring your saddle for the REPLACEMENT value. Please select the Quantum View Notify option from UPS to notify us that your saddle is on its way! Please use firstname.lastname@example.org for Quantum View.
All repairs are returned via UPS. If you have a FedEx account, we can ship your repair with your FedEx account number. Please notify us ahead of time and include your FedEx account number with your information sheet.
Please do not ship saddle covers, stirrup leathers, stirrup irons, billet guards, pommel straps, saddle pads or anything that may be attached to your saddle or that may be separated from your saddle and lost! Just the saddle, please. Thank you!
We receive MANY items throughout the week.
Please download and fill out our information sheet with your item so we may identify your item and the reason for repair. Without this information, we cannot begin work until you contact us.
You may also write a note with the following information:
- Your name
- Return shipping address*
- Phone number
- Email address
- Work to be done
- Payment information: PayPal or credit card number (VISA, DISCOVER, MASTERCARD or AMEX). You may also request a call for your credit card information, or let us know a check will be sent. All repairs must be paid for in advance of return.
Secure all notes, photos, and tracings by placing them inside the plastic bag with your saddle. These papers easily blend in with packing material and may be lost. Don’t tape anything directly to your saddle–this will damage the leather!Download the Information sheet
Bridles & Strap Goods
Bridles and strap goods for repair can be sent through the Post Office. USPS provides envelopes and boxes free of charge for sending small items Priority Mail.
We accept checks, PayPal, and all 4 major credit cards – Visa, Discover, MasterCard, and American Express. Payment must be received and processed BEFORE your repair is returned.
